Delivery and commitments

By Cristina Iscenco

When a Customer Deadline Is at Risk

ShiftLoom connects delivery signals from Jira, Linear, Asana, and GitHub with customer and pipeline context from HubSpot. When work tied to a customer outcome stalls, leaders can see which commitment may be exposed and what they can still change.

Start with the expected outcome

Identify the customer’s expected outcome, date, and scope. Keep the source of the commitment visible and name who can change it.

Trace the delivery risk

It relates blockers, owners, and milestones in Jira, Linear, or Asana to review and ownership signals in GitHub. A stalled review or unresolved dependency on the delivery path can put the customer outcome at risk.

Intervene before the risk escalates

The resulting view brings forward the exposed commitment, supporting signals, and missing context. Leaders can remove a blocker, reassign ownership, add capacity, reduce scope, or renegotiate the date.

Delivery owners should confirm blockers and scope before a customer commitment changes.
